Wellies
Wellies
Added on 24/11/2014
Do you have children's wellies which your child has grown out of kicking about and wish to give them a lot more mud and puddles fun? Why not donate them to Earlybirds, where your child's wellies will get to have endless fun with the Earlybirds children.
Having wellies available for children to wear while at Earlybirds saves parents having to bring them in every time and enables all children to explore the outdoors even when the weather isn't great! We're mainly looking for sizes 8 to 13.
Thank you!
Closing the gates
Closing the gates
Added on 17/10/2014
We would like to remind all parents, carers visitors and anyone else who walks past the gate at the far end of the Earlybirds path that the gate must remain closed at all times. It is crucial for the safety of the children that everyone shuts the gate behind them! Please don't leave it open because there's someone coming close behind you!
Your help in ensuring children are kept safe is much appreciated.
Bring and Borrow Library
Bring and Borrow Library
Added on 12/09/2014
Bring and Borrow is a child managed 'library' set in the reception hall at Earlybirds. Children can choose a book to take home, read and enjoy, then bring it back when they are done with it.
Children can also bring their own (unwanted) books and leave them there to share with other children. These should be suitable for toddlers to either enjoy by themselves or read with an adult.
If you wish to keep a book, you are welcome to do so. Donations are welcome and can be made directly into the moneybox provided.

If your child has been ill we ask that you keep them at home until they are fully recovered.
Please leave at least 48 hours following a bout of diarrhea and/or sickness before bringing your child back. Please keep the staff informed of your child's progress and when they will be returning.

We understand that it is difficult to care or find care for an unwell child, however we are sure you will appreciate that taking appropriate measures is necessary in order to limit the spread of viruses.
